Letter: Says disc golf is family sport

Dear Editor,

I think Hudson should have a Frisbee disc golf course because it was fun when it was at Willow River State Park. Every time I went to Willow River State Park to play Frisbee disc golf, I saw people using it properly.

It should be in an open area that has trees but not too close to the road because you don’t want freebees flying through the trees hitting cars.

Also, young people could use it instead of going out of town. One of the nearest Frisbee golf courses is in River Falls which is a lot just to drive there to play a 30 min game. It was much nicer having it in town. Having it here would also promote our community.

It’s a nice outside sport for people of all ages to enjoy. Our family enjoyed playing it together. I hope the city council seriously considers putting a Frisbee disc golf course back in Hudson.
