Spring election is Tuesday
Voters will go to the polls Tuesday, April 3 to determine a variety of local races and referendum issues. Topping the list is a school district referendum to purchase the old St. Croix Meadows dog track for $8.25 million.
Voters will go to the polls Tuesday, April 3 to determine a variety of local races and referendum issues. Topping the list is a school district referendum to purchase the old St. Croix Meadows dog track for $8.25 million.
The election, however, features many local races, plus a presidential preference vote. Some of the races include: school board, mayor, council posts, county supervisor posts, town supervisor posts and a county nursing home referendum.
Polls open Tuesday at 7 a.m. in all municipalities and close at 8 p.m. The Star-Observer has been highlighting various issues and candidates for several weeks. A sample ballot is inserted in this week’s Star-Observer.
