Hudson will play host to the inaugural River Life event, a weekend style and comfort tour scheduled April 27-29.
Home to some of the area’s most delicious restaurants, trendy shops and the beautiful St. Croix River, the event is designed to introduce visitors to Hudson’s style of living. As part of the event, local businesses will feature their expertise and share their knowledge at many special demonstrations throughout the weekend. Demonstrations include an introduction to pearls, whiskey tasting, and glass-blowing, professional grilling and home entertaining/decorating sessions.
Tickets for River Life are $25/person, and can be purchased online at experiencehudson.com/riverlife. A limited number of tickets is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets are expected to sell quickly.
Registrants receive entrance to three demonstrations, a tote bag filled with gifts and offers from local businesses, and a cruise down the St. Croix River complete with cocktails, appetizers and live music. Ticket holders will also be treated to an exclusive experience on Sunday morning as sponsoring businesses open their doors just for them for VIP shopping. Registrants can also expect special events and offers by sponsoring businesses all weekend long.
“I think it’s going to open up a whole new destination to a lot of people,” said Seasons on St. Croix Gallery owner Ruth Misenko. “I hear people say that we’re ‘all the way in Wisconsin,’ but in reality, we’re literally 15 minutes from St. Paul, and we have an atmosphere and community that are just so much fun.”
