Garden club meets April 3

Mark Armstead, assistant retail manager and grower at Linder’s Garden Centers will speak at the April meeting of the Hudson Home and Garden Club.

Armstead, with a degree in botany, has been in the horticulture industry for 25 years and has been featured on local radio and television stations discussing garden related topics. He will give a presentation on espalier and topiaries.

The meeting which is free and open to the public will be held at The Phipps Center for the Arts on April 3, and will begin at 1 p.m.

The Hudson Home & Garden Club meets on the first Tuesday every month and welcomes new members. The meetings include speakers, hands-on projects, and garden tours. The club is committed to beautification projects in our community, including the Hudson Area Joint Library, and other public gardens.
