Garden plots available

The Community Garden, located on Hudson Hospital & Clinics campus, has plots available for rent and planting this spring. The garden is part of the hospital’s sustainability efforts and a health improvement initiative of Healthier Together - previously called St. Croix County Community Health Improvement Process. The goal is to increase participation in community gardens, promote healthy weight and physical activity to address the health priority of overweight, obesity and lack of physical activity.

The community garden is open May 15-Oct. 15. An orientation session will be offered on Wednesday, April 11, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the hospital conference center. The agenda includes a review of last gardening season, what to expect this season, signing up for plots, and an opportunity to talk with experienced and master gardeners.
