Yoga classes continue at The Phipps

Vinyasa flow classes will be offered on Tuesdays, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., and Thursdays, from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Gentle yoga classes will be offered on Fridays, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.

Students should wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.

Renee Lindquist is a certified yoga instructor and has taught yoga to a variety of age groups. She has a background in fitness instruction and health education.

Classes are ongoing and may be taken or started at any time. Punch-cards may be purchased for $130 per ten classes. Punch-cards may be used for any of the three classes offered each week. Students only pay for the classes they attend. There is also a one-class drop-in fee of $16. Punch-cards may be obtained at The Phipps Center, 109 Locust Street, Hudson, Wisconsin in person or by mail. Tiny Tot yoga

Tot yoga for children ages 2-1/2 to 5-1/2 years along with an adult will be offered for six Wednesdays, April 4-May 23, from 10:15-10:45 a.m. at The Phipps Center for the Arts.

The goals of this class are to develop children’s motor skills; strengthen their musical ability; as well as support their physical, mental, and emotional needs. This class should provide quality bonding time between the child and adult as well as the opportunity to connect with other families. A mat is required for each adult and child pair.

Instructor Lisa Marie has taught yoga since 2006 and is a registered yoga therapist.

The class fee is $64/child and adult duo in addition to $32 for each additional child. Registrations may be made by mailing the fee(s) to The Phipps Center, 109 Locust Street, Hudson, Wisconsin 54016. Enrollments may also be made by calling (715) 386-2305 or going online to www.ThePhipps.org and charging the fee to Visa or MasterCard.
