Special needs baseball league set
The Hudson Boosters sponsor the Challenger Baseball League and it is an opportunity for special needs boys and girls of all ages, to participate in a Sunday evening baseball games during June and July. Reduced injury factor equipment is used; and the field, facilities and equipment is set up for wheelchair use. The program accommodates all abilities, is non-competitive, informal and there is no cost. Generally two teams of teens/twenty some things play each other on one field, while two teams of younger players play on a second field. The games are held at North Hudson Elementary. Hudson Basketball holds camp for girls
Hudson Basketball Association is hosting an offense skills camp for girls in grades 3-8. The camp will have four sessions on April 17, 19, 24, and 26. Grades 3-4 will have the early session from 6-7:30 p.m., and grades 5-8 will have the late session from 7:30-9 p.m. The cost is $30 and you can register on the first night of the camp.
