Bank donates to Backpack Program

First American Bank’s “Denim with a Cause” program recently donated $500 to the Hudson Backpack Program.

First American Bank’s “Denim with a Cause” program recently donated $500 to the Hudson Backpack Program.

The Backpack Program was designed to meet the food needs of school aged children when other resources are not available. Backpacks are filled with foods that are child-friendly, non-perishable, easily consumed and vitamin fortified. They are discreetly distributed by the school twice a month.

Denim with a Cause was created to raise money and awareness for local charities and non-profit organizations. Every Friday, for a donation of $5 FAB employees may wear Denim with a cause. The bank is located at 2424 Monetary Blvd., Suite 107.
