Caroline Marlow joins staff at Midwest Psychological

Caroline Marlow is the newest member of the counseling staff at Midwest Psychological Services, a mental health clinic at 2501 Hanley Road in Hudson.

Caroline Marlow is the newest member of the counseling staff at Midwest Psychological Services, a mental health clinic at 2501 Hanley Road in Hudson.

Marlow, a Wisconsin-certified professional counselor, grew up in Hudson and attended the UW-Stout at Menomonie, where she earned a master’s degree in mental health counseling.

Her area of concentration in her work for her master’s degree was alcohol and drug abuse and eating disorders.

Marlow has previous experience providing outpatient care for people with mental health and substance abuse disorders, as well as providing in-home therapy for children with autism disorders and adults with persistent mental illness.

She counsels clients ages 6 and older. She is looking to serve people suffering from substance abuse, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, compulsive disorders, marital and relationship problems, communication problems and trauma.

“I take a bio-psycho-social approach to treating and working with my clients,” Marlow said, explaining that she believes that people’s mental health is affected by mental, physical and social factors.
