Cedric Ellingson, a co-owner of Bo’s n Mine in River Falls, brought a restaurant owner’s perspective to Hudson High School’s Beginning Chefs class. During Ellingson’s visit, students were challenged to come up with a new recipe for hamburgers using a variety of spices, condiments and cheeses.
Ellingson, along with a fellow teacher, Kris Karlson, and a cook from the restaurant judged the burgers on presentation, flavor, and sanitary practices during preparation.
The class is taught by Sylvia M. Strom, Family and Consumer Education teacher.
