It took more than a little rain and wind to keep hundreds of children and their parents from the annual Booster Easter Egg Hunt.

According to Boosters there Saturday, the event has been going on for close to 50 years.

In addition to the candy foraged from the grass, all the children attending received a large chocolate bunny and the chance to win one of eight new bikes purchased by the Boosters.

The event is sponsored by the Boosters with support from LaPetite Dentistry. Members of the Miss Hudson Royalty were also on hand to assist in handing out tickets and drawing the names of the winners.
