2012 Pepper Fest button design released

The 2012 Pepper Fest button was released Tuesday afternoon. The winning button was designed by Judy Shatek, a 1976 Hudson high School graduate.

"I grew up in Hudson, where my Mother, Lois Isaacson still resides, and the Pepper Fest was always a must attend event,” Shatek said. “I am currently working in computer tech support but was a graphic designer for many years and still call design work my primary passion.

“My inspiration for the design was just to reflect the fun aspect of the event!”

The Pepper Fest is scheduled Aug. 17, 18 and 19. Bands for the 2012 Festival are Tuscan Road, Bad Girlfriends and The Dweebs. The next Pepper Fest board meeting is Thursday, May 3 at 6 p.m. at the North Hudson Village Hall. All are welcome to attend.
