Young turkey hunters get their birds

Hunter Anderson, left, and Taylor Heinrich both shot 21 pound Toms with nine-inch beards near Hudson on Saturday of the two-day youth hunt.
This was Taylor’s second bird and Hunter’s first. They have been hunting with their dads, Ben Heinrich and Bill Anderson, for a number of years. Both youths are seventh graders at St. Croix Central.
