Raider senior Charlie Skinner will be recognized as an all-state swimmer in two individual events and join teammates Willie Skinner, August Jorgensen and Sawyer Arndt as Honorable Mention All-State for the 400 yard freestyle relay when the Wisconsin Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association honors its 2011-12 All-State teams at its annual banquet this Sunday, May 6, in Hartford.

Charlie Skinner, who was Honorable Mention All-State in the 200 yard individual medley and 100 yard butterfly last year as a junior, moved up to All-State status in both events this year. His 200 individual medley time of 1 minute, 55.63 seconds broke his own school record from the previous year while his 100 butterfly time of 51.94 seconds was the eighth-best recorded in the state.

Skinner also teamed up with his younger brother, Willie, Jorgensen and Arndt, to set a new school record time of 3:16.35 this year in the 400 freestyle relay, good enough for Honorable Mention All-State recognition.

Charlie Skinner, who holds two Raider individual school records and is a member of two school-record setting relay teams, also earned Academic All-State honors from the WISCA this season.
