Kelsey Rebecca Lee, age 22 of Baldwin-Woodville died tragically May 1 as a result of an auto accident in Pleasant Valley Township.
Kelsey was born on July 17, 1989, in Baldwin, Wis., the daughter of David and Michele (Wynveen) Lee. She was raised in Baldwin and graduated from Baldwin-Woodville High School in the class of 2007. Her voice, infectious smile, and laughter was unmistakable whether on the cheer squad, dance floor, volleyball court, working at the A&W Restaurant or Buffalo Wild Wings, and at all family and social events. She was currently attending University of Wisconsin - Stout in Menomonie and was set to graduate next year with a degree in graphic design. After graduation she was planning on seeking employment in the Twin Cities area in an ad agency. Her artistic talent and eye for color was evident in her childhood artwork, jewelry designs, football run-throughs, tattoos, business logos, and recently her customized neon orange and green Nike shoes.
If she wasn't in class, working, or hanging out with friends or family, you'd find her exercising at Riverfront Athletic Club in Hudson. She was full of energy, strong-willed, and determined to succeed in everything she tried. She loved to move to music on and off the dance floor and could beat most everyone to a Wii game "Just Dance."
Kelsey will forever remain in the hearts of her parents, Dave and Michele; siblings, Rachael of Ellsworth, Stephanie and Dawson of Baldwin; grandparents Ray (Mary Baker) Wynveen of Baldwin, Gayle Lee of Turtle Lake, Kip (Brenda) Lee of Woodville; great-grandma Betty (Duke) Lee of Woodville; aunts/uncles Sandy (Kevin) Zimmerman of Baldwin, Steve (Suzanne) Wynveen of Baldwin, Nate (Amber) Lee of Baldwin, Angie (Brian) Lee of Baldwin, Daniel Lee of Hudson; her dogs, Porter and Cooper; and many more relatives and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Ardyth Wynveen; great-grandparents Marvin and Margaret Wynveen, Gordon Rudesill, Mayme and Dwight Soule.
