Daley shines at Northfield meet
Sophia Daley, a seventh-grade student at St. Patrick Catholic School in Hudson and a member of the Hudson Area Swim Association, recently competed at the Shark Attack swim meet hosted by the Northfield Swim Club in Northfield, Minn.

Sophia Daley, a seventh-grade student at St. Patrick Catholic School in Hudson and a member of the Hudson Area Swim Association, recently competed at the Shark Attack swim meet hosted by the Northfield Swim Club in Northfield, Minn.
Daley dropped time in all four of her individual events, earning her top-place finishes in each. She placed fourth in the 100 yard freestyle, sixth in the 100 yard individual medley and 50 yard butterfly, and seventh in the 200 yard individual medley. She dropped more than six seconds in her 50 yard butterfly event, and over eight seconds in her 200 individual medley.
HASA is a competitive swim team that trains year-round at the Hudson Middle School and competes throughout Minnesota. The summer session will begin June 12 and run through the end of July. More information about the team can be found at wwww.hudsonswimteam.org.
