Hudson’s spring orchestra concert fills the gym

The Hudson School District assembled every student in the orchestra program for a spring concert Monday evening. Over 300 students from grades 4-12 performed.

The Hudson School District assembled every student in the orchestra program for a spring concert Monday evening.

Over 300 students from grades 4-12 performed, including students from St. Patrick’s School and Trinity Academy. The Hudson High School gymnasium was filled to capacity with family and friends in the bleachers and the orchestra members on the floor.

District orchestra directors are Jack Young, Rachel Knipfer and Britt Peterson.

Joining the students for the evening was the St. Croix Valley Symphony directed by Kris Tjornehoj.

The students and symphony members performed a total of 12 numbers.
