Golden strings perform

Cliff Brunzell and the Golden Strings will perform classic to pop and romantic to jazz selections on Saturday, June 2, at 7 p.m. at The Phipps Center for the Arts. The Golden Strings entertained audiences for 18 years in the Flame Room of the Radisson Hotel in downtown Minneapolis. Founded by Brunzell, a virtuoso violinist, the Strings play everything from memory, including Broadway favorites, semi-classical tunes, popular songs, and a few ethnic numbers. Prior to the Golden Strings, Brunzell played with the Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra, which is now known as the Minnesota Orchestra. Tickets are $22 for adults and $15 for students of all ages.
