Ellen M. Zezza, 85

Ellen M. Zezza, age 85, of Hudson, passed away May 31 at the Hudson Hospital.

Ellen was born March 9, 1927, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Victor and Margaret (Wright) Olsen. Ellen grew up in the Sioux City area and later moved to Hudson. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Zezza on July 31, 1943, in Hudson. Their marriage was blessed with four children, Lawrence Jr., Sharon, Judy, and Richard.

She enjoyed crafting, needlework and collecting agates. Ellen cherished her time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ellen is survived by her children, Lawrence Jr. “Butch” (Marianita) Zezza of Albuquerque, N.M., Sharon (John) Wess of Woodbury, Minn., Judy (Larry) Behm of White Bear Lake, Minn., and Richard (Sandy) Zezza of Hudson; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Lou Lembcke.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence "Skeet", and brother, Vicki Olsen.

Private services will be held. Interment will take place at Willow River Cemetery of Hudson.
