In early state returns, Incumbent Gov. Scott Walker has upped his lead over recall election challenger, Democrat Thomas Barrett. With 21 percent of precinct reporting statewide (734 of 3424), Walker holds the early lead (262,508-169,037). Most exit polls, however, are predicting a close race.
