Feingold at Chapter2 Books

Former U.S. senator Russ Feingold will be at Chapter2 Books, 422 Second St., in downtown Hudson at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 7, to autograph copies of his new book, “While America Sleeps: A Wake-Up Call for the Post 9/11 Era.”

Chapter2 owner Brian Roegge said he expect Feingold to talk about the book for about 15 minutes, take questions for about 15 minutes, and then sign copies of the book until they are gone.

Roegge said he has a limited supply of the books and close to half of them are spoken for. Patrons can reserve a copy by calling the store at (715) 220-8818. The books, priced at $26, also can be ordered through the store’s website at Chapter2Books.com.

According to the book’s publisher, Random House, Feingold looks at institutional failures, both domestic and abroad, since the 9/11 terrorist attacks and proposes steps toward solving the international problems that threaten America.
