Letters - Appreciates grad party

Dear Editor,

A big round of applause to Hudson SAFE for throwing a tremendous graduation party for the Hudson High School Class of 2012. In particular, John and Leanne Van Allen took the lead to coordinate a mammoth effort and did it with goodwill and an attitude of gratitude throughout the entire effort. Your graciousness was inspiring.

Frank, Carol, and Lynette: You too! Be very proud.

The party’s real purpose is to keep our new graduates safe on a night when the unbridled joy of graduation could lead to tragic outcomes. That could be accomplished in far less fun and entertaining ways. It is great that this community rallies every year to do it in an amazingly positive way.

Bravo.
