The history of cell phones is something Yasir Mansour knows about. The owner of the new T-Mobile store in Hudson has witnessed amazing changes since he started in the wireless business over 18 years ago.
Mansour brings to Hudson an enthusiasm for his industry and an historical perspective dating back to the brick phones. In 1993, he saw the coming potential and started his first phone business in the Twin Cities area.
“I love electronics,” said Mansour. “When I started in the business the only thing the phones could do was make and receive calls. On today’s phones you can do everything.”
The store offers, a wide assortment of phones including nearly 50 different models, tablets and all the accessories to go with them.
“We are an authorized dealer for T-Mobile,” said Mansour. “We take care of customers like they are family. I still have customers that I have been helping for over fifteen years.”
Community service is another area Mansour is committed to, which he plans to continue in Hudson.
From collecting and donating phones for the Sojourner Women’s Shelter in Minneapolis to participating with Subway in a lunch box campaign for kids, Mansour believes it is important to give back.
The store hours are Monday thru Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The store is located at 1920 Crestview Drive in the Southside Center.
