A large oak tree blew down sometime between 3:30 and 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, as strong storms passed through the Hudson area. The tree completely closed off access to North Star Ridge N, a cul-de-sac in North Hudson. North Hudson city crews were out within an hour to open a path to the cul-de-sac. Some homes in the area lost power due to the storms.
