After dropping the final two of a three-game series against the White Sox on Sunday, the Milwaukee Brewers are looking to recover as they travel to Cincinnati to face the Reds Monday night.
Yovani Gallardo and Ryan Braun have been done well in previous matchups with the Reds. In early May, the Reds beat the Brewers two out of three in the series and Gallardo helped the crew notch their only win.
The right-hander gave up a two-run homer but allowed no other runs over six innings going into that 8-3 victory. Braun is 15 for 25 (.600) with five homers and nine RBIs during a string of six consecutive multi-hit performances against the Reds.
Cincinnati holds a 39-32 record after dropping two of three with Minnesota over the weekend. Milwaukee has a 33-39 record.
