Dancers from Helmer Dance Studio competed in the Masquerade National Dance Competition in Burnsville, Minn., during the week of June 19-24. Four dancers who had competed in regionals in May qualified to compete and participate in the "Parade of Stars" opening number with select dancers from all over the country. All four girls also competed in the solo divisions. The girls are, from left, Taylor Gullickson (River Falls), Ashton Randolph (Hudson), Chloe Hoff (Hudson) and Kailah Hartung (New Richmond). Randolph and Hoff, both age 10, competed in the Junior Solo division at the Masquerade National Competition. Both girls earned a Platinum rating, and both placed in the top 10 in the nation, Hoff placing third and Randolph placing seventh. Hoff's solo was also chosen for competition in the finals on Friday, in the National Champion Dance-Off.
