ST. CROIX COUNTY: 7/19/12 Public Hearing - Animal Waste Storage

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

The St. Croix County Community Development Committee will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the County Board Room of the St. Croix County Government Center, 1101 Carmichael Road, Hudson, Wisconsin to consider the following:

Amendments to St Croix County Code of Ordinances, Chapter 11 – Animal Waste Storage Facilities. The proposed amendments to the County’s Zoning Ordinance – Chapter 11 regarding Animal Waste Storage Facilities were to bring the ordinance current with State Statutes, Administrative Codes, Technical Standards and Formatting. The proposed ordinance regulates the construction, use, abandonment and conversion of animal waste storage facilities throughout the County.

Comments and questions from the public will be heard and addressed.

Information on the ordinance amendments may be obtained from the office of the St. Croix County Planning and Zoning Department, Hudson, WI, or the Land and Water Conservation Department, located at the Agricultural Center in Baldwin, WI. Information may also be viewed or downloaded from the St. Croix County website at: www.sccwi.us/lwcd.
