ST. CROIX COUNTY: 7/19/12 Public Hearing - Amend Ch. 17 (Zoning)

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

The St. Croix County Community Development Committee will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 19, 2012 immediately following the public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on the Animal Waste Storage Facilities, in the County Board Room of the St. Croix County Government Center, 1101 Carmichael Road, Hudson, Wisconsin to consider the following:

Amendments to St Croix County Code of Ordinances, Chapter 17 Zoning, regarding Definitions, 17.09, General Provisions 17.12, Agricultural Districts 17.14 and Agricultural Residential District, 17.15. The proposed amendments to the County’s Zoning Ordinance – Chapter 17 are proposed to reflect amendments with the Animal Waste Storage Facility Ordinance – Chapter 11. The proposed amendments also provide changes to provisions reducing setbacks of Animal Waste Storage Facilities for facilities that have less than 500 animal units in all three Agricultural Districts.

Comments and questions from the public will be heard and addressed.

Information on the ordinance amendments may be obtained from the office of the St. Croix County Planning and Zoning Department, Hudson, WI, or the Land and Water Conservation Department, located at the Agricultural Center in Baldwin, WI.
