That’s just what the Hudson High School wrestling team did at the Ellsworth Cheese Curd Festival last Sunday, June 24. Hudson and Stoughton joined Ellsworth for a day on the mat under the blue sky in the parking lot of Nilssens Foods.

“It was a great event,” Raider coach Chris Hansen said. “Stoughton drove over four hours each way. Ellsworth brought in a top-notch clinician for the first half of the day. All we had to do was wrestle.”

Hansen said Stoughton and Ellsworth are two of the premier teams in the state. “It was an honor for us to be invited,” he said. “I would never pass this opportunity up. The kids wrestled hard and had a blast.”
