Dear Editor,

After this last week’s horribly misguided decision by the Supreme Court to overrule Arizona’s SB1080 it’s obvious the majority of justices have either given up on the Constitution or are actively conspiring with the “emperor” to get rid of it entirely. With this ruling they’ve tacitly joined the totalitarian regime headed by President Obama, even though, from the www.Whitehouse.gov website — “Under Article II of the Constitution, the President is responsible for the execution and enforcement of the laws created by Congress.” He’s in clear violation of the oath of office he took after he was elected by the “true believers,” the “Bush-haters” and naive “Hope and Change” swallowers. It’s an impeachable offense and proceedings should begin immediately, that is, if Congress had any relevancy left. But now we have an emperor, a ruler who ignores laws he dislikes, has his czars write and enforce unconstitutional regulations and finally, circumvents the Legislature by executive order or decree without oversight or limitations from any source.

The Supreme Court has opened the door to allow the federal government to usurp states’ rights and for the most part nullify or override states’ Constitutions. Congress, with their inconceivably gutless unwillingness to take on the emperor and exercise their duty to limit the Executive Branch’s power is equally to blame for the new totalitarianism. America’s last chance will be in November. Every member up for re-election this fall must be replaced. That is, if the emperor graciously allows elections to take place. Do not be surprised if he decrees elections to be illegal and that he adopts the title, “President for Life,” a term the dictators “Papa Doc” and “Baby Doc” Duvalier adopted during their reign in Haiti.

What will Arizona do next? There’s talk of nullification — states’ authority to impede or prevent enforcement of a federal law within their territory. However, the emperor is refusing to enforce a federal law — the exact opposite of what nullification is as defined. It appears lawsuits against the regime are futile. Is secession from the Union a last resort? It may be Arizona’s only avenue other than to allow illegal immigrants flood the state unchecked — immigrants that could also certainly be comprised of radical Islamists bent on terroristic acts. Governor Brewer’s duty is to protect her state regardless of, and now in defiance of, the emperor without regard to consequences. Godspeed, Governor.
