TESTING ELECTRONIC VOTING EQUIPMENT for the AUGUST 14, 2012 PARTISAN PRIMARY ELECTION
STATE of WISCONSIN, ST.CROIX COUNTY
According to Wis. Stats. 5.84(1) Testing Equipment, the electronic voting equipment must be tested at a public meeting. The Edge II and Accuvote (if applicable) electronic voting systems which utilize automatic tabulating equipment will be tested on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the municipalities listed below, unless otherwise noted:

The test is open to the public. The test shall be conducted by processing a pre-audited group of ballots so marked as to record a predetermined number of valid votes for each candidate and on each referendum (when applicable). The test shall include for each office one or more ballots which have votes in excess of the number allowed by law in order to test the ability of the automatic tabulating equipment to reject such votes. An errorless count must be made before the Clerk can approve the equipment for use in the election.
