UWRF football to host night game
The UW-River Falls football team will play a rare home night game this season when the Falcons take on UW-Stout in a nonconference contest Saturday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m. at Ramer Field.
The UW-River Falls football team will play a rare home night game this season when the Falcons take on UW-Stout in a nonconference contest Saturday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m. at Ramer Field.
The game will be the first night game for the Falcons at Ramer Field since Sept. 30, 2006, against UW-Oshkosh.
UWRF will open the 2012 season at home against Simpson (Iowa) College Sept. 1, at 4 p.m. They will visit St. Thomas Sept. 8 before a bye week. They return home to face Stout under the lights Sept. 22 and open WIAC play Saturday, Sept. 29, with the Homecoming and Shrine game at 1 p.m. against Oshkosh.
UWRF’s 2012 schedule also features home games Oct. 13 against UW-Stevens Point and Nov. 3 against UW-La Crosse, both at 1 p.m. The Falcons will play on the road Oct. 6 at UW-Whitewater, Oct. 20 at UW-Platteville, Oct. 27 at Stout, and the season finale Nov. 10 at UW-Eau Claire.
