Kicking off a new season of community fun, North Hudson’s Pepper Fest launched a new interactive website. The site was created and donated by are web designer, Ejaz Saifullah, of Corridor Design, Hudson.
“The poster has the same look and feel as the website,” said Holly Steele, publicity chairperson for Pepper Fest. “We were thrilled when Ejaz volunteered to help us out. He has already attended Pepper Fest with his family and he created a website to reflect the festival. The new design makes the festival come to life. It was a generous donation.”
Pepper Fest is Aug. 17, 18 and 19. Changes this year include the addition of a children’s tractor pull on Sunday beginning at noon and the Club of Pepper Kings Casino night on Friday and Saturday evenings from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Other changes include the elimination of the Friday night talent show and moving the cooking contest from Saturday to Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
“We have also added a third princess position in the royalty,” said Steele. “We have 16 candidates trying out for the royal court which includes the Pepper Fest queen and three princesses.”
