Second man convicted in dog track case
A second man charged in connection with a theft incident at St. Croix Meadows last fall has been convicted. Ryan David Jacobson, 22, Coon Rapids, Minn., was convicted of obstruction July 26.

Ryan David Jacobson, 22, Coon Rapids, Minn., was convicted of obstruction July 26. Charges of burglary, possession of burglary tools, criminal damage and battery to law officers were dismissed in a plea agreement.
Judge Scott Needham set a sentencing hearing for 8:30 a.m., Sept. 26.
Robert Kiff Anderson, 31, Coon Rapids, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges including theft, criminal damage and disorderly conduct April 25 in connection with the same incident. He was also entered into a deferred judgment agreement on a felony burglary charge.
A bow hunter taking part in Hudson’s urban deer hunt saw the men walk under his tree stand in the dog track area Oct. 6. He contacted another member of the hunting group who called Hudson Police.
