Salvation Army reaches goal

The Salvation Army in St. Croix County has exceeded its goal of $5,000 for the “Christmas in July” Red Kettle campaign. Volunteers have been ringing bells in various communities throughout St. Croix County including Hudson. The money raised will provide rent assistance, utilities, transportation and medical assistance to families and individuals in need.

The Salvation Army said it was the work of volunteers throughout the area that made the summer campaign a success. Tax deductible donations can be sent year around to Salvation Army 203 Church Hill Road, Somerset, WI 54025. Donors can indicate that their donation should support St. Croix County.
