The St. Croix County Democrats will hold an “Under One Roof” open house at their offices in Hudson, on Saturday, August 4, from 3 to 5 p.m.
Pat Kreitlow, candidate for the 7th Congressional District, will speak at 4 p.m. Other guests include Diane Odeen, 30th Assembly District candidate, and Jim Swanson, 29thth Assembly District candidate, both of whom will be there to meet visitors and discuss the issues of the day and their campaigns.
Party officials say the open house is an important opportunity for area residents to get to know these candidates, and Kreitlow in particular. St. Croix County is new to the re-drawn 7th Congressional District.
The St. Croix County Democratic Party offices are located in the old Hudson library building at 901 Fourth St., on the first floor.
The building is also the new home of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin field office, and the Organizing for America office. The groups will be celebrating this opening as well, and visitors will get a chance to meet Brie Urbanec, a state party field organizer, and Laura Jensen, organizer for the Obama campaign.
Refreshments will be served at the open house. Guests are asked to aid in planning and to RSVP by calling (715) 381-9600 or RSVP by email to bethh@aldeb.com.
