Primary is Tuesday
A primary election is scheduled Tuesday, Aug. 14 and the only race on the ballot will decide the Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate race in the November election.
A primary election is scheduled Tuesday, Aug. 14 and the only race on the ballot will decide the Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate race in the November election.
Running in the Republican primary for U.S. Senate are candidates Jeff Fitzgerald, Eric Hovde, Mark W. Nuemann and Tommy G. Thompson. The winner will face Democrat Tammy Baldwin on Nov. 6. The candidates will be vying for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Sen. Herb Kohl who is retiring.
All other unopposed candidates (both Republican and Democrat) are also on the ballot for federal, state and county offices.
All polling places open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

Districts 1 & 5, 505 Third St.
Districts 3 & 4, United Methodist Church, 1401 Laurel Ave.
Districts 2 & 6, St. Croix County Govt. Center, 1101 Carmichael Rd.
--Village of North Hudson, Village Hall, 400 Seventh St. No.
--Town of Hudson, Town Hall, 980 County Road A.
--Town of St. Joseph, Town Hall, 1337 County Road V.
--Town of Troy, Town Hall, 654 Glover Rd.
