New officers installed

Officers and directors for the Hudson Lions were installed recently and are preparing to launch a new year of service. The Hudson Lions are part of the largest service organization in the world, with a focus on children and vision issues. Among other projects they will be providing vision screening for pre-schoolers in the Hudson area and eyeglasses for needy children; will serve meals for children with diabetes who will be camping at Camp Needlepoint, and will provide one leg in the relay of corneas to be transplanted at the Lions Eye Bank in Madison. Lions have their own camp for children with disabilities in Rosholt, operational since 1956, at no cost to the campers.
