ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Hudson in the City Hall at 505 Third Street, Hudson, Wisconsin, until 10:00 a.m. local time, on Thursday, September 13, 2012, at which time Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following:

Lake Mallalieu Storm Sewer Outfall No. 2 Improvements

Bidding documents may be examined at Hudson City Hall, 505 Third Street, Hudson, WI, 54016 and at the office of Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC., Eagle Point II, 8550 Hudson Boulevard North, Suite 105, Lake Elmo, Minnesota 55042.

Contract Documents may be obtained from Foth Infrastructure & Environment, located at Eagle Point II, 8550 Hudson Boulevard North, Suite 105, Lake Elmo, MN 55042, (651) 288- 8550, upon a non-refundable payment of $50 for each set. Make checks payable to Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC. Cash will not be accepted. Plans will be sent via UPS Ground. Overnight shipping is at requester’s expense (provide requester’s shipping account number). No partial sets will be issued.

Digital copies of the Contract Documents are also available for downloading at no cost using Foth’s secure ShareFile site. Users will need to contact Foth at (651) 288-8550 to receive an email containing a secure link to the Contract Documents.

A Bid shall be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% percent of Bidder’s maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check or bank money order or a Bid bond on the form, included in the Bidding Documents, issued by a surety meeting the requirements of the General Conditions of the Contract.

The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive or not waive any informalities in the bids received and to accept any proposal which they deem most favorable to the interest of the Owner.
