High school football: Raiders 36, Chippewa Falls 0

Michael Hommes and Dan Loughney scored two touchdowns each and the Raider defense held Chippewa Falls to 91 total yards as Hudson improved to 3-0 on the season with a 36-0 victory over the Cardinals Friday night, Sept, 7, at Newton Field.

Michael Hommes and Dan Loughney scored two touchdowns each and the Raider defense held Chippewa Falls to 91 total yards as Hudson improved to 3-0 on the season with a 36-0 victory over the Cardinals Friday night, Sept, 7, at Newton Field.

Hommes scored on a 3-yard touchdown run late in the first quarter and took the second half kickoff 97 yards to pay dirt while Loughney scored a pair of second quarter touchdowns on runs of 1 and 4 yards. Joe Kelly scored on an 8-yard run midway through the third quarter to cap the Raider scoring and institute a running clock for the rest of the game.

Hommes carried the ball 12 times for 95 yards and completed 3-of-4 passes for 18 yards.
