Boat capsizes, occupants rescued
A boat capsized in the St. Croix River Wednesday afternoon at about 4:10 p.m., but both occupants of the boat were eventually rescued by another boater.

A Washington County, Minn., sheriff's deputy talks to two young sailboaters after their boat was towed to Beanie's boat landing in Lakeland, Minn., Wednesday afternoon. Their small sailboat capsized just south of the I-94 St. Croix River bridge.
A boat capsized in the St. Croix River Wednesday afternoon at about 4:10 p.m., but both occupants of the boat were eventually rescued and accounted for.
When emergency crews arrived, the occupants were on the beach on the Minnesota side of the river, near Beanie’s Resort.
Hudson fire Department, St. Croix EMS and Lower St. Croix Valley Fire Department responded to the scene.
