Scandinavian fest set

The Scandinavian Food Fest is Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19-20, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Bethel Lutheran Church - Highlands Campus, 504 Frontage Road.

Dorothy Hughes is one of several women immersed in making Swedish limpa bread for Bethel Lutheran Church's annual Scandinavian Food Fest. The limpa bread is paired with rullelpolsa and offered along with many other types of open face sandwiches at the fest. Also featured are Scandinavian specialties such as lefse, rosettes, fattigmann, rommegrot and aebleskivers. Baked goods and gift items also are offered for sale.
