Members of the Raider football team, including Emerson Korum (22), Vince Lindstrom (62), Joseph Kelly (35), Alex Burgess (95), Blake Amborn (25) and Mike Hommes (10) celebrate with their classmates in the student section at Williams Stadium after the Raiders defeated Menomonie, 34-7, to win the Big Rivers Conference championship last Friday night in Menomonie. The victory capped a perfect 8-0 season for Hudson, who earned the No. 2 seed in Group A of the WIAA playoff bracket and will host Eau Claire Memorial in a first-round playoff game this Friday night, Oct. 19, at 7 p.m. at Newton Field. It was Hudson’s first undefeated season since 1966.
