Rotary Halloween parade set Wednesday, Oct. 31

The 59th annual Rotary Halloween parade is scheduled Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Newton Filed (near Rock Elementary). The event is sponsored by the Hudson Thursday Noon and Hudson Daybreak Rotary clubs.

The 59th annual Rotary Halloween parade is scheduled Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Newton Filed (near Rock Elementary). The event is sponsored by the Hudson Thursday Noon and Hudson Daybreak Rotary clubs.

Sign-ups begin at 4 p.m. with the parade starting at approximately 4:45 p.m. Prizes will be awarded in several age groups: 4 and under, 5-7, 8-10, 11 and older and the best group or family. Prizes in the age groups are $25 for first, $20 for second, $15 for third, $10 for fourth and $5 for fifth. The best group or family has a $45 first prize and a $30 second prize.

Every parade participant will receive a goodie bag. Participants are urged to bring a non-perishable grocery item for the Hudson Christian Food Shelf.

The event is Hudson longest continuing community event. No skates, roller blades or skate boards will be allowed on the track at Newton Field.
