Alex was born Aug. 4, 1991, in Phoenix, Ariz., to parents William and Cheryl (Czeponis) Solberg. Alex was a graduate of Hudson High School with the class of 2009. After high school, Alex attended college at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and had worked locally at BioDiagnostics in River Falls.
Alex had a talent for music, playing the trombone and the guitar, as well as a passion for acting and theatre. Alex also loved to hang out at the hunting cabin, and in his free time, enjoyed playing video games. He was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers. Alex was very social and loved being around his family and his friends. He will be missed by many people who knew and loved him.
Alex is survived by his parents, Bill and Cheryl Solberg; his sister, Tess Solberg; his grandparents LaMoine (Jackie) Solberg and Louise Czeponis; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Alex was preceded in death by his grandfather Frank Czeponis Sr.
Funeral services honoring the life of Alex Solberg will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 110 N. 3rd St., River Falls, Wis., with Rev. Chris Myers officiating. Visitation will be held at church from 4 p.m. Friday evening, and also 1 hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the discretion of the family.
