VILLAGE OF NORTH HUDSON

RESOLUTION 2012-11

A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE VILLAGE OF

NORTH HUDSON OUTDOOR RECREATION/PARK PLAN

WHEREAS, the Village of North Hudson has developed an Outdoor Recreation/Park Plan; and

WHEREAS, outdoor recreation opportunities promote public health, the comfort and well being of individuals and families, improve the attractiveness of the Village and contribute to the social and economic health of the Village; and

WHEREAS, the Outdoor Recreation/Park Plan provides both passive and active recreational opportunities for the residents of the Village and the County; and

WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Outdoor Recreation Plan will incorporate the Village of North Hudson’s plan at the request of the Village of North Hudson; and

WHEREAS, the Village of North Hudson, having their Outdoor Recreation/Park Plan as part of a Regional Plan, will be eligible to apply and increase their point of value for State and Federal grants.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village of North Hudson Board of Trustees hereby formally adopts the Village of North Hudson Outdoor Recreation/Park Plan as the official policy statement for the development of outdoor recreation programs and facilities in North Hudson.
