Hudson Police are looking for the person who threw a rock through a window at the Verizon store, 1027 Pearson Drive, stealing an undetermined amount of inventory.
The incident happened around 5 a.m. Wednesday. HPD Chief Marty Jensen said the canine unit officer was in the Menard’s parking lot where he was filling out paperwork from an earlier call and reached the store within minutes.
Jensen said the police dog with his handler, along with other officers, searched the area but did not find the suspect. “We suspect that they had a vehicle waiting. We understand similar break-ins have occurred at other Verizon stores in the Twin Cities.
The investigation is continuing.
