Grab your skates, Burton field is open
The Burton Field warming house opened Thursday, Dec. 27, with attendants on duty seven days a week, weather permitting.
The Burton Field warming house opened Thursday, Dec. 27, with attendants on duty seven days a week, weather permitting.
The schedule is Monday-Friday, 4-8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, noon to 8 p.m.
The warming house will also be open from noon to 8 p.m. when there is no
school scheduled. After snowfalls the rinks will be opened as soon as they can be cleaned. Normal maintenance and flooding is done mornings so the rinks will be unavailable for skating during those hours.
