'Idol' finalist Grimm named grand marshal of Hot Air parade
”American Idol” finalist Reed Grimm will serve as grand marshal of the 24th annual Hudson Hot Air Affair Torchlight Parade on Friday, Feb. 1, starting at 7 p.m. in downtown Hudson. The parade will feature units sporting this year’s event theme of “Majestic Flyway.”
”American Idol” finalist Reed Grimm will serve as grand marshal of the 24th annual Hudson Hot Air Affair Torchlight Parade on Friday, Feb. 1, starting at 7 p.m. in downtown Hudson. The parade will feature units sporting this year’s event theme of “Majestic Flyway.”
Grimm charmed “American Idol” judges to reach the final 13 in season eleven of the popular television competition. He has performed on stage since age two; you may also have seen him at The Phipps Center for the Arts, the Minnesota State Fair or touring with his band “Shoeless Revolution”.
Once through the parade, Grimm and his siblings Jennifer and Trey will head to the Hudson High School auditorium where they will be in concert at 8 p.m. Sponsored by Youth Action Hudson, the concert will benefit YAH and Hudson SAFE. Also on stage will be winners of the Hudson Youth Have Talent competition performing with Reed. Refreshments will be available during intermission.
