VILLAGE OF NORTH HUDSON

RESOLUTION 2013-01

RESOLUTION APPOINTING GLORIA TROESTER

AS ACTING VILLAGE CLERK

WHEREAS, pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute 17.24(1), the Village of North Hudson is required to have a Clerk to perform certain official functions; and

WHEREAS, Becky Milbrandt the current Clerk, who has resigned effective January 31, 2013 has been serving as Village Clerk; and Gloria Troester the Village Administrator has agreed to serve as Acting Village Clerk on an interim basis until a new Clerk begins employment, in order to provide a smooth transition; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees finds that Gloria Troester is a qualified person to perform the duties of Acting Clerk, and that it is in the public interest to appoint her as Acting Clerk on an interim basis until the Clerk position is filled.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Board of the Village of North Hudson hereby appoints Gloria Troester to the position of Acting Village Clerk effective February 5, 2013, until such time as the new Clerk has been appointed; said appointment to be at the pleasure of the Board of Trustees and subject to all applicable law.
